                              RESOLUTION NO. 21744
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
                 AMENDMENT NO. 5 TO THE ENGINEERING AGREEMENT
                 WITH CONSOLIDATED TECHNOLOGIES, INC. AND
                 PIEDMONT OLSEN HENSLEY, A JOINT VENTURE,
                 RELATIVE TO THE MOCCASIN BEND WASTEWATER
                 TREATMENT PLANT EXPANSION, FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO
                 EXCEED ONE MILLION, FIVE HUNDRED FIFTEEN
                 THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS
                 ($1,515,570.00).
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of Amendment No. 5 to the Engineering Agreement with
       Consolidated Technologies, Inc. and Piedmont Olsen Hensley, a
       Joint Venture, relative to the Moccasin Bend Wastewater Treatment 

       Plant Expansion, for an amount not to exceed $1,515,570.00.
